This will only give you the knowledge you need but you actually have to lead a class so that you will know if you can be a good instructor. If you are an instructor, you have to be able to teach consciously. Draw from what you learnt previously from your class and also form your private practice to teach your students. You must remember that not everyone can do all poses so try to be there for your students if they have difficulties in some of their poses.

It is understandable if you think its just for the physical benefits because of the attributes towards this workout. A means for practicing this exercise is mastering the mind so that you can improve your health.

Is anybody who is not flexible free to do this exercise? You can do it even if you feel you are not flexible enough. All you have to do is relax and let your body take its own course. Do not try to push yourself so hard at the same time com paring yourself with those are extremely flexible as this will only strain your body.

In conclusion, its not considered as a religion but rather as a philosophy. It helps in guiding ones lifestyle hence a philosophy while a religion gives details on God in terms of how a specific faith views it. Its more practical and just like any exercise, results are yield after the hard work put in practicing the tough moves.
